Future Offerings

We have our new seedling and sapling stock and will be planting out in the spring. Please note: we anticipate most of these will take approximately 4-6 years to bear enough fruit for bringing to market, so expect to see these in ~2027-2029.

  • Mandarin Orange (Satsuma, 2 varieties) - Easy peeling, snack-sized treats!
  • Washington Navel Orange - Delicious fresh oranges really brighten things up as the days get shorter & gloomier, so an easy-peeling orange makes life better. Bonus: Oranges provide a great boost of Vitamin C just as school is starting back up!
  • Kaffir Lime - For additional Asian produce/aromatics. The leaves will start being available in limited quantity in 2024, fruits are available immediately in extremely limited quantity.
  • Yuzu - If you make Japanese or other East Asian cuisine, fresh yuzu is the key in getting the truly authentic flavor. It’s like a combination of lemon, mandarin, grapefruit, and floral notes, and we’re thrilled to bring this fresh to you!
  • Loquat - Often described as “a pleasant blend of apricot, plum and cherry with floral overtones, and is quite sweet when ripe.” If you like peaches, apricots and plums, you’ll love loquats!

Ideas for future orchard expansion

Here are some varieties we think will be great additions, but we haven’t committed to yet. Let us know if you would like to put your finger on the scale!

  • Grapefruit - To bring some flavors of the South up here to the PNW
  • Valencia Orange - Spanish sweet orange for general purpose use
  • Finger Lime - Australian “citrus caviar”. We’re really excited to try this out. Given their small size and relative difficulty in acquiring plants, we’ll start with 3-5 of these.

Varieties we have considered, but aren’t currently in our immediate expansion plans:

  • Bergamot Orange
  • Bitter Orange
  • Clementine
  • Tangerine
  • Pomelo (sometimes called Pampelmousse)
  • Kumquat

Would you like to weigh in on our future plans? Contact Us to let us know what you’d like to see and how much of it you’d like! We can’t promise we’ll be able to grow everything here, but we’re always keen to hear your thoughts.
