Golden Point Farms is named for our Golden Retriever (Maddie) and our German Shorthaired Pointer (Millie). They hold special places in our hearts, and their stories are below.
Millie (2010 - Present)
German Shorthaired Pointer
Millie joined the family to aid Ryan through his first bout with cancer, then dutifully returned to her post the second time around, and continues to be the supportive and energetic helper she has always been. Millie isn’t one to waste time with belly rubs or silliness like that - she’d much rather be patrolling the perimeter, chasing the local wildlife, or working on her best doggy paddle in a lifelong quest to catch a duck.
Millie would like to remind everyone that she is the Grand Dame of the house and farm.
Maddie (2015 - Present)
Golden Retriever
Maddie joined the family and instantly made her presence as a cuddle bear known. She lives to love, and lives a life of pure joy, bringing brightness and warmth to wherever she goes. Aside from tasty treats, belly rubs, and naps, her main priorities are Ball and Friends. She’d love it if you’d come by to see her.
As her photo shows, she’s very interested in tha’ fishy.
